By using FenceCalc you agree to these terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.

Estimates are planning tools, not quotations

Every number produced by this site, and every figure published in our guides, is an estimate for planning purposes.

• Material quantities are calculated from standard construction practice and assume flat ground, normal soil and no rock, stumps or buried obstructions.
• Unit prices reflect national averages at the time of writing and change with market conditions, region, retailer and season.
• Labor rates, permit fees and site work are variables you supply or price separately.
• The totals shown are never a quote, a bid or a contract, and nothing on this site creates a contract between you and FenceCalc or between you and any supplier or contractor.

Always confirm quantities, current prices and local code requirements before purchasing material or beginning work.

Local rules are your responsibility

Fence height limits, setback rules, permits, pool barrier requirements, HOA rules and property line positions vary by location and change over time. Verifying them is your responsibility. FenceCalc does not provide legal, surveying or engineering advice.

Safe digging

Always contact your local 811 utility locate service before digging, and independently locate private lines such as irrigation, landscape lighting and pool plumbing. FenceCalc is not responsible for damage to utilities or property.

Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for an unlawful purpose
• Attempt to disrupt, overload or gain unauthorized access to the site or its systems
• Scrape the site at a volume that degrades service for other users
• Republish the calculators, guides or artwork as your own

Intellectual property

The FenceCalc name, logo, calculator logic, page content and design are owned by FenceCalc and protected by copyright. You may use estimates and PDF output you generate for your own project, including sharing them with contractors and suppliers. You may not resell or republish the tool or its content.

Advertising and affiliate links

The site displays advertising and contains affiliate links to third-party retailers and suppliers. We are not responsible for the content, pricing, availability or practices of those third parties. Any purchase you make is between you and that third party.

Third-party links

Links to outside websites are provided for convenience. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content or accuracy.

Disclaimer of warranties

The site and its estimates are provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including accuracy, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, FenceCalc is not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of profit, material, time or property, arising from your use of the site or reliance on any estimate or guide published on it.

Changes

We may update these terms. Continued use of the site after an update means you accept the revised terms.
